WATSONVILLE — The Appleton Grill will welcome Bay Area musicians Bang Data in a concert on Saturday at 9 p.m.

East Salinas theater company Baktun12 will warm up the stage for the cumbia urbana group from the central coast, Qiensave.

After performing for audiences in North and South America, this band of brothers will play a fresh set from their new album “Mujer!”

Headlining the night will be the Oakland-based Bang Data crew firing up their Latino Funk/Rock/Cumbia and Hip-Hop set led by Bay Area MC, Deuce Eclipse and master instrumentalist Caipo.

Since first coming onto the scene, their music has been featured in the popular TV show “Breaking Bad,” and they’ve earned the respect of Creedence Clearwater Revival for their cover of “Fortunate Son” on the Latin album tribute “¡Quiero Creedence!” and are now lacing up audiences with their new album, “LOCO.”

The Appleton Grill is located at 410 Rodriguez St. in Watsonville. Tickets for Saturday’s concert are $10 in advance on brownpapertickets.com.
