WATSONVILLE — A man armed with a handgun robbed a pizza shop Saturday morning.

According to Watsonville Police, around 8:55 a.m., the suspect entered Little Caesars Pizza at 1504 Freedom Blvd. and demanded money from the clerk. The lone male suspect was armed with a black handgun, was dressed in a black pullover hooded sweatshirt with a black ski mask covering his face. The suspect reached over the counter and took an undisclosed amount of cash. 

He was last seen running eastbound in the shopping center parking lot.

No one was injured during the robbery and the suspect, who was described as dark-skinned, remains at large, according to police.
