Annieglass opens studio to public
WATSONVILLE — Annieglass, 310 Harvest Drive in Watsonville, is holding an open studio Saturday from 1-4 p.m.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the team of artisans as they demonstrate their craft of glass cutting, painting, edging, engraving and waterjet cutting.
Twenty percent of the day’s sales will be donated to earthquake relief in Mexico and those affected by the fires in California’s Wine Country.

Rabobank kicks off drive for Toys for Tots
WATSONVILLE — Rabobank N.A. is teaming up with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program to help ensure that children in need receive a gift this holiday season.
Now through Dec. 14, community members can donate new, unwrapped toys at Rabobank’s branch, 1915 Main St. in Watsonville.
The toys will be distributed locally by Toys for Tots volunteers.

Think Local First celebrating 10 years
SANTA CRUZ — Think Local First, an association of Santa Cruz County local, independently-owned businesses, will host a joint “Local Business” birthday celebration at its holiday season kick-off on Nov. 16, at KSCO Radio’s Party Plaza, 2300 Portola Drive in Santa Cruz, from 5-7:30 p.m.
Think Local First, County of Santa Cruz, will celebrate its 10th anniversary of service to the locally-owned business community. KSCO Radio will celebrate its 70th anniversary.
The event is open and free to the owners, managers and staff of the locally-owned business community.
It will feature food by D’La Colmena, Mountain Mike’s and The Turkey Boat, with wine from The Pelican Ranch Winery and beer from NuBo. Live dance music from Dave Rey and Danceland will also be featured.
