Carlos Emilio LaGrange “Charlie” died on Wednesday, July 25, 2018. He was 78.

A native of Eagle Pass, Texas, Mr. LaGrange lived in Watsonville for 57 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked at Graniterock in Aromas for 29 years. Once he retired he enjoyed camping and traveling. His four grandsons were his pride and joy.  

He is survived by his wife, Julia Jauregui LaGrange; children, David LaGrange and Laura LaGrange Rojas; his sister, Antonieta LaGrange Hernandez; and four grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso and Ninfa LaGrange; and four siblings, Alfonso LaGrange, Alicia Lagrange Watrons, Yolanda LaGrange Diaz and Ninfa LaGrange Torralba.

Services will be held on Thursday Aug. 2 at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Public viewing from 5-9 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Aug. 3 at St. Patrick’s Church at 10 a.m. There will be a burial at Valley Public Cemetery after Mass.
