A 1956 Studebaker Lark VI is part of the weekly Watsonville Cars & Coffee at East Lake Village. 

Put on by East Lake Village, with help former Watsonville Police Chief Manny Solano and Ace Hardware owner Manny Rodrigues, the event showcases early day cars and trucks and serves as an informal meet and greet arena and helps boosts locals businesses at the center, including Sushi Q, Staff of Life, the newly opened Silver Spur restaurant, Fuentes Coins & Metal Detectors and Ozzy’s Pizzeria. 

The community friendly, pet friendly gathering is also a fundraiser for various local organizations.

Tarmo Hannula has been the lead photographer with The Pajaronian newspaper in Watsonville since 1997. More recently Good Times & Press Banner. He also reports on a wide range of topics, including police, fire, environment, schools, the arts and events. A fifth generation Californian, Tarmo was born in the Mother Lode of the Sierra (Columbia) and has lived in Santa Cruz County since the late 1970s. He earned a BA from UC Santa Cruz and has traveled to 33 countries.
