WATSONVILLE — Watsonville firefighters are responding to a crash at the intersection of Freedom and Airport boulevards, where the driver of a Ford F-150 truck lost control, tore through a planter bed and a wooden fence and then crashed into a vehicle parked at an urgent care clinic.

The impact pushed the vehicle, a newer-model Lexus sedan, into an overhang at the clinic, located at 99 Airport Blvd. The overhang then crashed down on top of the Lexus.

No injuries have been reported.

The crash, which occurred at 2:30 p.m., closed eastbound Airport Boulevard.

Watsonville Police Sgt. Donny Thul said the male driver of the Ford lost control for unknown reasons. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected in the crash.
