Cynthia Mae Orion Covita passed at the age of 62 in the comfort of her home in Fresno, CA on Oct. 12, 2017 with immediate family members by her side.  Born in Wahiawa, Oahu HI and raised in Watsonville, CA. She was a cosmetologist over 35 yrs. She loved family gatherings, annual camping trips, going to the gym and trips back home to Hawaii with her sisters. Her priorities were her faith and family. Most importantly she loved spending every moment with her son and grandchildren.
Cynthia is survived by her son, James Michael Spear; grandchildren, David, Nathaniel and Elvira Hiilani Spear; her brothers, Lawrence (Diane) Tapangco, Gerald (Linda) Tapangco, Daniel (Cindy) Covita; her sisters, Judy Tapangco Tagami and Beverly (David) Orion Covita Sanchez.
She always expressed how lucky she was to have “True Friends” all through her life in Silvina Alonzo-Parkin, Mary Kato-Rumney and Shephanie Torres-Ruppert. She referred to them as her “Sisters”.  
She was preceded in death by her dad, Bien Covita; mother, Dolores Maluenda Orion; brother, Vivencio Tapangco Jr.; and sister, Ester Orion Covita Bobo.
Private Family Service will be held per Cynthia’s request.
