Santa Cruz “comedy troubadour” Richard Stockton, known for Planet Cruz Comedy Hour on KPIG radio station, will host the Three 800 Pound Gorillas of Comedy, featuring deadpan Phil Griffiths and the high-energy Michael Meehan at El Vaquero Winery in Corralitos.
Griffiths is coming off sold-out headline performances at the San Francisco Punchline.
“Phil Griffiths is the comedian’s comedian with his impeccable timing driving his non-stop laughter sets of brilliant observations,” Stockton stated in a press release.
Stockton will open the show, bringing his musical and socio-political wit, along with his unique and skewed take on the empowerment movement.
Meehan is nationally known for his surrealist mania, known as one of the cleverest comics in the business. He has been featured on a multitude of television shows and films, including The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Last Comic Standing, and was the warm-up act for Robin Williams.
