MENDOCINO — The FBI, Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office and California Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help in finding three missing children.

Hannah Jean Hart, 16, Sierra Maija Hart, 12, and Devonte Jordan Hart, 15, have been missing since their family’s vehicle crashed over a cliff off Highway 1 and landed in the surf line near Westport.

The bodies of their parents and three siblings were recovered, but the three are still unaccounted for.

According to the FBI, the missing children could currently be traveling together and may have last been seen with their family members traveling in a brown 2003 Yukon XL SUV with tinted windows, which is the same vehicle that crashed.

Anyone who saw the family before the crash is asked to call the FBI.

The family may have traveled to Ten Mile Beach in Westport near Fort Bragg, California Russian Gulch south of Fort Bragg, and MacKerricher State Park, Surfwood Campground, Pinewood Campground and Cleone Campground, all in Mendocino County.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI’s Toll-Free tipline at 800-CALL-FBI, the local FBI office, or the nearest American embassy or consulate.
