SANTA CRUZ — Agents from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security conducted a raid on a Santa Cruz residence early Friday morning as part of an “ongoing criminal investigation,” DHS spokesman Richard Rocha said.

The raid on the 500 block of Windsor Street was not related to immigration issues, Rocha said.

Rocha referred further inquiries to Assistant U.S. Attorney Abraham Simmons, who said he had no information at the time of the call.
