WATSONVILLE — The latest art exhibit, “Color!” at the Pajaro Valley Gallery, 37 Sudden St., is about to open.

Running from Wednesday through July 29, the highly varied show features the work of more than 100 artists in a wide spread of media, from oil and acrylic on canvas to free standing sculpture, photographs and etchings.

“I think it’s a great show and we always look forward to this event,” said one of the curators, Jane Gregorius. “There’s so much talent in this area. In each room we tried to showcase a certain color and style.”

An artist’s reception takes place June 18 from 2-4 p.m. and is free to the public.
