It is with great sadness that the family of John Jauregui announces his passing after a long battle with cancer, on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at the age of 56 years.

John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Kathy of 28 years; and his children, Shaun and Kimberly. He is also survived by his brother Alfred Jauregui, and his sisters Rita Trostad, and Socorro Wallace.  He was preceded in death by his brother Lidio Jauregui Jr and sister Amelia Morales. He was the son of the late Lidio and Teresa Jauregui, and was born on the 23rd of June in 1962 in Los Angeles.

He graduated from Watsonville High School class of 1980. He worked for Hildebrand Trucking for many years in Watsonville, Ca. He then started his 26-year career at PG&E. John was an avid lover of hot rods and restoring classic cars, and he was famous for always knowing the perfect restaurant to go to.

Services will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 at 10am at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, 2401 East Lake Avenue, Watsonville, CA. Following mass will be the burial service.  Celebration of life will be from 1pm to 4pm at Ramsay Park Family Center, 1301 Main Street, Watsonville, CA.
