CommunityNewsLocal News PHOTO STORY: Late-night fire displaces families By Todd Guild - April 13, 2024 3680 Tarmo Hannula/The Pajaronian FULLY ENGULFED Firefighters prepare to move in on a fire that broke out in a home on the 300 block of Herman Avenue Friday night. Watsonville Fire Division Chief Corey Schaefer said the 10:12pm blaze appeared to have erupted between two homes and moved up into the attic of one home. Residents all got out safely, he said. Watsonville firefighters and Central Fire in attacked the fire from the ground and on the roof, where they used chain saws to open several ventilation holes.
