The Braves edged the Cubs 13-10 on Wednesday in Pajaro Valley Little League Majors action.
Israel Rivas had two hits and three RBIs, while Kinan Cruz and Sol Flores each had two RBIs for the Braves.
For the Cubs, Josh Ybarra tripled, and Iker Ponce, Adrian Morgan and Damian Suchil all had two singles.
• Padres 7, Angels 6 (8 innings) – Reece Hamalainen had three doubles and scored the winning run in the Padres’ PVLL Majors win on Wednesday.
Hamalainen also had a single and scored three runs in total for the Padres.
Zac Sandoval had two singles and hit an inside-the-park homer for the Angels. Anthony Smith tripled.
• Braves 16, Giants 3 – Jesse Navarro doubled, Zander Miller-Brown had two singles and three scored runs and the Braves cruised past the Giants in PVLL Majors action on Tuesday.
Nathaniel Arreola had three hits, including a double, for the Braves.
Marcus Gonzalez doubled for the Giants.
• Angels 9, Braves 4 – Zac Sandoval and Edgar Raminrez doubled for the Angels in a PVLL Majors win over the Braves on Saturday.
Nathaniel Arreola singled, doubled and had two RBIs for the Braves.
• Angels 10, Giants 8 – Issac Urbina, Harrison Bechtold, Ryan Solorio and Matthew Enright all hit a double for the Angels in a PVLL Majors win on Saturday.
For the Giants, Max Castro had two singles and three scored runs. Jason Uduc doubled.
• Padres 18, Cubs 8 – Brody Legions had two singles, two doubles and four scored runs for the Padres in a Friday night PVLL Majors victory.
Reece Hamalainen had two RBIs and three scored runs.
Frankie Van Wickler singled and scored twice for the Cubs.
• Giants 4, Angels 0 – Isaak Vargas tossed a two-hit shutout with eight strikeouts to lead the Giants over the Angels on Thursday in PVLL Majors play.
Zac Sandoval and Edgar Ramirez each had a single for the Angels.

AAA MINORS
• Orioles 9, Mariners 8 – Jacob Diaz ignited the Orioles’ five-run comeback with a two-run single in the team’s PVLL AAA Minors victory on Tuesday.
For the Mariners, Brian Acosta-Romero scored three times and Alex Sandoval doubled.
• Yankees 8, Cardinals 7 – Felix Io scored the game-winning run on a wild pitch to lift the Yanks over the Cards in PVLL AAA Minors play on Saturday.
Lucas Westfall singled, scored twice and had an RBI for the Yanks. J.C. DeLuna and Io scored two runs apiece.
Cameron Aruiza had two singles and two RBIs for the Cards.
• Pirates 12, Orioles 8 – R.J. Allen and Jesus Rocha each singled and scored a run in the Pirates PVLL AAA Minors win on Saturday.
Allen also had an RBI, while Vince Tovar, Evan Vessey and Maverick Nelson each scored two runs.
For the Orioles, Jacob Diaz and Kingston Padilla had two singles apiece.
• Mariners 13, Red Sox 4 – Gabriel Masters doubled and had two RBIs for the Mariners in their PVLL AAA Minors win on Thursday.
Adrian Maldonado singled and doubled for the Sox.
