The Athletics eliminated the Astros 11-3 from the Pajaro Valley Little League Majors playoffs on Thursday.
Nate Madrigal had two singles, a double and three RBIs for the A’s. Bobby Greene singled, double and drove in three runs. Chase Dicey had two singles and a double. Jackson Miller singled and doubled. Lorenzo Gonzales doubled.
For the Astros, Max Castro singled and scored a run.
• Braves 24, Rays 14 – The Braves steamrolled the Rays out of the Pajaro Valley Little League Majors playoffs with a 24-14 win on Saturday.
Nathaniel Arreola hit two singles, four RBIs and three scored runs. Nicholas Teixeira and Aiden Sabatino each hit a pair of singles and drove in two runs. Nicolas Jimenez had two RBIs.
Freddie Lopez and Tristan Nakatani each scored three runs. Matthew Enright doubled.
Hudson Cortez had two singles and two RBIs for the Rays. Brody Legions tripled and drove in a pair of runs.
• Giants 6, Athletics 2 – The Giants knocked out the Athletics from the Pajaro Valley Little League Majors playoffs with a 6-2 win on Saturday.
Devon Tipton had two singles for the Giants and Noah Moon doubled.
For the A’s, Chase Dicey doubled.
• Cubs 5, Padres 2 – The Cubs advanced to the Pajaro Valley Little League Majors Championship with a 5-2 win over the Padres on Saturday.
Izzy Acosta had three hits, including a double, and Diego Mitchell recorded a single and a home run for the Cubs.
Gio Aguirre doubled for the Padres.

AAA MINORS
• Red Sox 10, Yankees 4 – The Red Sox beat the Yankees 10-4 on Thursday in the Pajaro Valley Little League AAA Minors playoffs.
Jesse Navarro and Elias Siegal doubled for the Sox. Brady Cortez scored three runs.
Alex Sandoval and J.C. DeLuna both singled for the Yanks. Sandoval drove in a run and DeLuna scored a run.
• Orioles 10, Pirates 0 – The Orioles shut out the Pirates 10-0 on Saturday in the Pajaro Valley Little League AAA Minors playoffs.
Samuel Garcia singled, doubled, tripled and drove in four runs for the O’s. Sol Flores and Naim Figueroa each doubled and Damian Suchil had two singles.
Adrian Morgan and Jayden Cole both hit singles for the Pirates.
• Cardinals 7, Yankees 1 – Ben Miller hit a triple and two singles in the Cardinals 7-1 win over the Yankees on Saturday in the Pajaro Valley Little League AAA Minors playoffs.
Ryan Smith doubled for the Cards.
Robert Gomez scored once for the Yankees and Gabriel Larsen singled.
• Mets 11, Red Sox 9 – The Mets secured a spot in the Pajaro Valley Little League AAA Minors Championship on Saturday with an 11-9 win over the Red Sox.
Mason Borrego clubbed two doubles and a single for the Mets. Jacob Jimenez and Jose Silva each hit two singles.
For the Sox, Austin Duque hit two doubles, while Marcus Gonzalez and Brianna Leon each hit a double. Elias Siegal had two singles.
