The Aptos High girls’ soccer team had their 41-match unbeaten streak against Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League opponents come to an end on Tuesday night in a 2-1 loss to Soquel High.

It was Aptos’ (3-3-2, 1-1) first league loss since the 2013-14 season.

Sophia Audisio scored for the Mariners, who host Harbor High tonight at 7 p.m.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

• Aptos 52, Scotts Valley 42 – Blake Welle had 15 points and five rebounds in Aptos High’s SCCAL win over Scotts Valley High on Monday.

Jackson Carver and Logan Feldbrugge had nine points each for Aptos, while Max Pepperdine added nine rebounds, four steals and five points.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

• North Salinas 69, MVC 44 – Madison Hill and Morgan Scott scored eight points apiece in Monte Vista Christian’s Monterey Bay League Gabilan division loss to North Salinas High on Tuesday night.

Lauren De Los Santos, Sara Gallardo, Mackenzie Tellez and Aleah Rafat all chipped in five points for M.V.C. (7-7, 0-3), which travels to Hollister to play San Benito High tonight at 7 p.m.

• St. Francis 58, Harbor 40 – The St. Francis High Sharks beat Harbor High in SCCAL play on Monday night.
