Freshman Jasmin Castillo scored six times in Pajaro Valley High’s 7-2 win over King City High on Saturday in the first game of the Watsonville High girls’ soccer tournament.

Senior Emma Arroyo added the seventh goal for Pajaro Valley (2-0).

• St. Francis 7, York 0 – Clare Tershey scored three goals, Riley Croghan added two and St. Francis rolled to a big non-league win over York on Monday.

Ashley Raich and Savannah Guel also scored once for St. Francis.

• St. Francis 6, York 6 – Cesar Sanchez scored three goals in St. Francis High’s non-league with York on Monday.

Joey Correnti scored two goals and Sean Farley added another for the Sharks.

• MVC 5, Aptos 4 – Matt Olsen scored three goals to lead the Monte Vista Christian Mustangs to a non-league victory of Aptos High on Friday night in Watsonville.

Isaiah Sanchez and Connor Stuart also scored for M.V.C. (1-0), which hosts Carmel High tonight at 5:45 p.m.

G LEAGUE BASKETBALL

• Santa Cruz 116, Sioux Falls – The Santa Cruz Warriors defeated the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Sunday night to notch their third straight win.

Warriors (9-5) two-way guard Quinn Cook led both teams with 26 points and center Damian Jones, currently on assignment from the Golden State Warriors, scored 23 points to go along with 16 rebounds, marking his second consecutive game with at least 15 points and 15 rebounds.

Santa Cruz had four players with double-doubles for the first time this season. Cleanthony Early notched 14 points and 14 rebounds and Georges Niang had 15 points and 11 rebounds, with guard Alex Hamilton securing 11 points and dishing 11 helpers.

Avry Holmes established a new career-high tonight with 19 points and 6 rebounds.
