Natalia Ackerman had 21 points, eight rebounds, four steals and two blocks, Gabby Giuffre added 16 points and eight rebounds and the Aptos High Mariners cruised to their first Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League championship since the 2000-01 season with a 64-42 win over Soquel High on Thursday night.

Hannah Hocom added 12 points for Aptos (20-3, 11-0), which plays at St. Francis High on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.

• Watsonville 65, Alvarez 55 – Julisa Vega had 15 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks and Savanah Quintana added 15 points and eight steals in Watsonville High edged Alvarez High in Monterey Bay League Pacific division action.

Andreina Lopes and Ruby Galvan added 13 points apiece for Watsonville (13-7, 5-3), which plays at Monterey High on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

• Ceiba 33, Trinity 30 – Fenesia Braga had nine points and five blocks to lead Ceiba College Prep past Trinity Christian on Thursday in Coastal Athletic League action.

Yvonne Carrisales added seven points for Ceiba (5-4, 5-4).

• North Salinas 61, MVC 48 – Angelina Cortes had 14 points in Monte Vista Christian’s MBL-G loss to North Salinas High on Thursday night.

Madison Hill added 12 points, while Mackenzie Tellez and Lauren De Los Santos each chimed in with six points.

M.V.C. (10-11, 2-7) hosts San Benito High on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

• MVC 2, Seaside 0 – Kailey Morrell scored a pair of goals to lead Monte Vista Christian over Seaside High on Wednesday night in MBL-Pacific division play.

Caroline Sullivan added an assist and Syerra Montes made 11 saves.

• Foothill 60, Cabrillo 57 – Pauli Pappas scored 28 points and Grace Giguiere added 15, but Cabrillo College still suffered its first Coast Conference South loss of the season on Wednesday night.

• St. Francis 45, Harbor 24 – St. Francis won five of six matches but gave up seven forfeits in its first loss of the SCCAL  season on Wednesday night.

Roderick Howe (140 pounds), Hunter Blinkenberg (147) and Justin Parker (154) all won by decision, while Felipe Padia-Noriega (197) and Isaac Davila (heavyweight) won by decision.
