Pauli Pappas had 24 points and seven rebounds, Teal Maixner added 16 points and Cabrillo College cruised to a 77-54 win over Monterey Peninsula College in Coast Conference South division action on Friday.

Grace Giguiere finished with 15 points for Cabrillo (18-3, 8-1), which hosts Gavilan College on Wednesday night at 5 p.m.

• St. Francis 3, Harbor 0 – Devlyn Gomez scored two goals, Ashley Raich dished two assists and scored a goal and St. Francis High notched its second Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League win on Saturday afternoon.

Riley Croghan also recorded an assist for St. Francis (9-6, 2-6), which plays at Santa Cruz High on Thursday.

HS WRESTLING

• Parker takes 2nd – St. Francis High’s Justin Parker finished runner-up in the 147-pound division of the ninth annual Colt Invitational on Saturday.

Parker won four straight matches to earn a spot in the final, but lost to Sanchez O’Leary via a 10-3 decision.

Aptos High’s Eli Galster finished sixth at 108 pounds.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

• Pajaro Valley 69, North Salinas 57 – Christian Quintero had his third 30-point game of the season to power Pajaro Valley High over North Salinas High in Monterey Bay League Pacific division action on Friday night.

Ryan Magbag chipped in 17 points, seven rebounds and four steals for Pajaro Valley (12-10, 6-3), which hosts Seaside High on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

• MVC 69, Alisal 58- Miles Greene and Andrew Lee scored 17 points apiece in Monte Vista Christian’s big MBL-Gabilan division victory on Friday night.

Lucas Schmidt had eight points and 13 rebounds for M.V.C. (13-6, 5-3), which hosts Palma High on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.

JC BASEBALL

• Feather River 7, Cabrillo 2 – Cabrillo College lost its second straight game on Friday afternoon in Sacramento.

Josh Laine tripled, Ivan Perez doubled, and Gaige Howard was 3-for-4 with a scored run for Cabrillo (2-4), which has lost four of its last five.

The Seahawks play in the Gary Engleken Tourney in Yuba on Thursday.
