Lois Johnson (Stephens) passed away March 19, 2019 in Springfield, OR after a long illness.

Lois was born November 10, 1930 in Oklahoma City, OK to Alfred “Jack” and Tressa Moomey.  At the age of 9, her mother moved her and her brother to California.  When Lois was 16, she married Loyd Alvin Stephens.  They had four sons.  She was a homemaker and worked various jobs in the Watsonville area.  After the death of her husband Loyd, she married James “Doc” Johnson.  Lois and Doc owned and operated Johnson’s Beauty Supply in Watsonville for about 5 years.  Lois lived in Aromas and San Juan Bautista before moving to Oregon in 2013.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred “Jack” Moomey and Tressa Nolen (Walton); brothers Jerry and Donald Moomey; sons Daniel and Paul Stephens; and second husband Doc Johnson.  Lois is survived by her sons Michael (Susan) Stephens of Gilroy, CA, and James (Patty) Stephens of Eugene, OR; and her sister Judy (Jay) Black of Texas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

No formal services are planned at this time.
