On July 20, 2018 Louise Reiko Murata died peacefully in Santa Cruz. She was 75.

Louise was born in Poston, AZ then later moved to Watsonville. After graduating from Watsonville High she moved to the Bay Area. Upon retirement in the early 90s she moved back to Watsonville. Louise was a kind-hearted lady that always put family first.

She is survived by her nephews Chris Tsuchimoto, Glenn Tsuchimoto, Tracy Tsuchimoto, David Hirai and Douglas Hirai; along with her niece Lynn Rogers. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Helen Hirai, Shirley Murata, Jean Tsuchimoto and Elwyn Murata; along with her cousins Carol Miyasaka, Melvin Kusumoto, Gary Nakanishi, Joy Whitman, Chizu Baer, June Yamagata, Kay Yamagata and Howard Yamagata.

There will be a Memorial Service at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park located at 127 Hecker Pass Rd., Watsonville on August 1, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
