A Hollister man was arrested Aug. 19 after months of investigation into a series of violent incidents earlier this year.
Enrique Fuentes, 37, was charged with shooting into an occupied residence and gang enhancements. He was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail without bail, jail records showed.
Fuentes was arrested at his Hollister residence, where police served a search warrant.
According to Watsonville Police Department, officers from three agencies responded to four separate calls on the same night for reports of gang activity, gunfire and men brandishing guns throughout the county.
The final call that night came from the 400 block of Second Street in Watsonville, where a home was hit at least twice by gunfire. Nobody was injured.
Investigators have determined that all the incidents were connected.
