Michael Edward Sotomayor died in Watsonville on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018. He was 66.
Mr. Sotomayor was born on Sept. 1, 1952 to Raul and Sally Sotomayor. He was a passionate man that embraced all aspects of life. He graduated from Aptos High School in 1971. He played football in high school and at Cabrillo College. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Muhammad Ali. He enjoyed driving around in his 1974 Chevy Camaro. He was a resident of Freedom.
He is survived by his brothers, Ray (Jan) Hermosillo and Hank (Sylvia) Hermosillo; his uncle, aunts, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sally and Raul Sotomayor.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
