Myrl Alan Tibbitts, 76, avid horseman and supporter of rodeo, printer, and farrier, who died on Monday, July 15, 2019, will not have a public ceremony. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of his life at the family home on August 4, 2019. There will be a memorial service at the Watsonville VFW the same day.

Myrl Tibbitts was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma on October 6, 1942 to Harry and Isla Tibbitts. He married Jo Ann Parker.

He was a Vietnam veteran who served in the US Army during the Vietnam conflict.

Myrl is survived by his wife, Jo Ann; daughter, Michelle Tibbitts, of San Jose, CA; son, Myrl Alan Tibbitts Jr., and wife, Selene, of Marana, AZ; son, Edward Lee Spencer; daughter, Lavada Lynn Hubble (Paul), of Stephenville, TX; 9 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
