WATSONVILLE — Arpana Parti, DDS, has recently opened a new dentist office, Healthy Smiles, in Watsonville at 1970 Main St. in Watsonville Square near Nob Hill Foods.

Parti said she prioritizes in children’s dentistry. She opened the business Sept. 4 and enjoyed an open house celebration Thursday afternoon.

“I looked around and Watsonville was a community that needed this kind of dental care,” she said. “I’ve been practicing in Bakersfield for the past 23 years. My husband and I wanted to move near the coast. We love the people here. This is just what we were looking for. Watsonville has been so great.”

Parti said she currently has a staff of six and will most likely hire one or two more people.

Parti’s website states: “Our entire dental team is devoted to helping kids feel welcome and comfortable, and we nurture trusting relationships that last.”
