The seventh annual Summer Scamper event will be held on Sunday at the Stanford University campus, with the intent to raise money for Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and child health care programs at Stanford University School of Medicine.

Trustees vote to spend one-time money

The Pajaro Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees on Wednesday approved a plan to use $19.4 million in one-time funds to repair roofs and bathrooms, replace furniture, purchase textbooks and help the district reduce its deficit spending.
