Around 600 people join the No Kings protest against President Trump Saturday in Watsonville Plaza along with thousands of others around the nation. Santa Cruz County was one of more than 3,000 locations across the U.S. where thousands of people staged rallies opposing President Donald Trump. It was the third such event held in the past 10 months. Below are images our reporters gathered in Santa Cruz and Watsonville.

  5. You’re just as much of a liar and thief as the last administration under Biden. I know Trump is harsh, but I love how he puts America first…as we all should.

    I visited your ancestors’ country (Mexico) and they told me straight up: get the hell out if you’re looking for any free help—food, shelter, clothes, medical care, etc. They only help their own legal, documented citizens.

    And whoever started this ridiculous “No Kings” nonsense needs a mental evaluation. Trump has never said he’s a king or is trying to be one.

    I’ve been paying taxes in this country for 40 years now—I started working full-time at 15 in Watsonville, and at 55, I’m still working. I’m sick and tired of my hard-earned money going to freeloaders who won’t get off their asses and want everything for free—while I suffer with Type 1 Diabetes and get scraps in return.

    Enough is enough…#AmericaFirst
