The Pacific Coast Athletic League, a 33-school super league that will merge the members of the current Mission Trail Athletic League, Monterey Bay League and St. Francis next school year, recently released its division placings for the 2018 fall sports season.

St. Francis is the lone school from the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League that will jump over to the PCAL for all sports. The PCAL, however, will continue to house the six other SCCAL schools for football.

Here is what the divisions for seven fall sports will look like next school year:

FOOTBALL
The 29 teams in the PCAL were split into four divisions.
Gabilan: Aptos, Christopher, Alvarez, Gilroy, San Benito, Palma, Salinas and Seaside.
Mission: Alisal, Carmel, Monte Vista Christian, North Salinas, Scotts Valley, Soledad and Watsonville.
Cypress: King City, Monterey, North Monterey Country, Pacific Grove, San Lorenzo Valley, Santa Cruz and St. Francis.
Santa Lucia: Gonzales, Greenfield, Harbor, Marina, Pajaro Valley, Soquel and Stevenson.

CROSS COUNTRY
The 30 teams were divided into four divisions.
Gabilan: Alisal, Carmel, Gilroy, San Benito, North Monterey County, Pacific Grove, Palma/Notre Dame-Salinas and Soledad.
Mission: Alvarez, Greenfield, King City, Marina, North Salinas, Pacific Collegiate School and Salinas.
Cypress: Gonzales, Monterey, Pajaro Valley, Seaside, Stevenson, Watsonville and York.
Santa Lucia: Anzar, Christopher, Kirby, Monte Vista Christian, Oakwood, Santa Catalina, St. Francis and Trinity Christian.

GIRLS GOLF
The 13 teams were broken up into two divisions.
Gabilan: Carmel, Gilroy, San Benito, Pacific Grove, Salinas, Santa Catalina and Stevenson.
Mission: Alisal, Christopher, Alvarez, Monte Vista Christian, North Monterey County, Watsonville.

GIRLS TENNIS
The 20 teams were broken up into three divisions.
Gabilan: Carmel, Monterey, Pacific Grove, Salinas, Santa Catalina, Stevenson and York.
Mission: Alisal, Alvarez, San Benito, Monte Vista Christian, North Salinas, Notre Dame-Salinas and St. Francis.
Cypress: Christopher, Gilroy, Gonzales, Oakwood, Pajaro Valley and Watsonville.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
The 30 teams were broken up into four divisions.
Gabilan: Carmel, Christopher, San Benito, King City, Monte Vista Christian, Notre Dame-Salinas, Salinas and Santa Catalina.
Mission: Alisal, Alvarez, Monterey, North Salinas, Pacific Grove, St. Francis and Seaside.
Cypress: Anzar, Gilroy, Gonzales, North Monterey County, Pajaro Valley, Soledad, Stevenson and Watsonville.
Santa Lucia: Greenfield, Kirby, Marina, Oakwood, Pacific Collegiate School, Trinity Christian and York.

BOYS WATER POLO
The 15 teams were broken up into two divisions.
Gabilan: Aptos, Carmel, Christopher, Salinas, Santa Cruz, Soquel and Stevenson.
Mission: Alvarez, Gilroy, Harbor, San Benito, Monterey, Palma, San Lorenzo Valley and York.

GIRLS WATER POLO
The 15 teams were broken up into two divisions.
Gabilan: Aptos, Carmel, Christopher, Salinas, Santa Cruz, San Lorenzo Valley and Soquel.
Mission: Alvarez, Gilroy, Harbor, San Benito, Monterey, Notre Dame-Salinas, Santa Catalina and Stevenson.
