Paul H. Martinez died on Aug. 26, surrounded by his family. He was 90.
Mr. Martinez retired from Granite Construction. He will be remembered for his love of NASCAR racing, Western movies, camping, gardening and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Isabel Martinez and their children, Manuel Martinez, Timothy Martinez, Rosemarie Hurley and Michael Martinez. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, and sister Mary Vasquez of Hollister.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rita Valenzuela.
A memorial service will be celebrated on Sept. 5 at 11 a.m. at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel.
