Watsonville city employees raised $5,318.65 for Second Harvest Food Bank during the organization’s Holiday Food and Fund Drive. Deputy City Manager Tamara Vides said all city departments helped in the efforts, organizing events throughout the holiday season to collect donations of food cans and funds. “It was a lot of fun to be creative in raising funds to support an effort that’s definitely worthwhile,” she said.
