Watsonville-based German polka band The Thirsty Nine will once again perform at Oktoberfest Santa Cruz on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 801 High St. in Santa Cruz. The celebration of German-Bavarian culture will feature homemade German food, a selection of beers from Munich, as well as family and children’s activities. Admission is free. Adult meal tickets are $15 each, children meals (ages 12 and under) are free. For information, call 423-8330.
