The California Highway Patrol investigates a solo-vehicle crash on Holohan Road Saturday. Sgt. Atty said the male driver of a Nissan Murano SUV was traveling south at an “unsafe speed” when he lost control around 2:50pm. The Watsonville man, in his early 20s, careened off the pavement, crashed into a dirt culvert and flipped into the air. The SUV then rolled at least four times, Atty said, showering the farmland with car parts before landing on its side over 200 feet away. The driver suffered minor to moderate injuries. The incident is still under investigation.
