The Padres of Pajaro Valley Little League celebrated on the field after capturing the Majors Division championship following a 14-1 crushing win against the White Sox on June 3 at Ruso Field in Watsonville.

With the win, the Padres will compete in the District 39 Major Tournament of Champions starting with a game against the Capitola/Soquel Little League champion at Green Acres Elementary School in Live Oak on Sunday at 4pm. 

The winner of that game will square off against the winner between Santa Cruz and San Lorenzo Valley little leagues on June 14 at 5:30pm, while the losers play June 12 at 5:30pm.

Aptos Little League will square off against Scotts Valley Little League on Sunday at 10am. The winner will play against top seed Live Oak Little League—which has a bye round—on June 13 at 5:30 pm.
