SANTA CRUZ — A woman was arrested early Monday morning for driving under the influence of alcohol after she reportedly crashed her minivan into a police cruiser.
Yesenia Pavez, 27, was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail. She was not in custody Wednesday morning, jail records showed.
Santa Cruz Police say that Pavez was driving on the 800 block of Pacific Avenue at about 3:40 a.m. when she struck the police cruiser. The officers were out of the vehicle responding to a call for service, and were not injured.
