PRUNEDALE — The Caltrans Salinas South Maintenance crew will be performing pavement repair on southbound Highway 101 between Mallory Canyon Road and Messick Road in Prunedale from Tuesday through Thursday, Caltrans officials announced.

The southbound right lane of Highway 101 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. Delays of up to 25 minutes are expected and motorists are advised to use an alternate route, said Jessica Madueño, public information officer for the California Highway Patrol.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
