First-responders work to remove a vehicle rollover that occurred at 3pm on Wednesday at 41st Avenue and Clares Street.

According to Capitola Police, the male driver of a Hyundai Kona was traveling north on 41st Avenue near Clares Street when the driver of a Mercedes delivery van pulled abruptly from a driveway and broadsided the Hyundai.

The impact knocked the Hyundai onto its side on the center median. The Hyundai driver managed to get out of the car, as the male driver of the Mercedes pulled into a nearby lot.

Minor injuries were reported.

Traffic was still snarled in the area at 4pm.
