Forward Juan Toscano-Anderson secured 15 points to go along with eight rebounds and six assists, and guard Luke Martinez added 16 points in the loss.

The Warriors opened the contest on a 10-0 run and despite the Capitanes closing the gap to just four points in the first quarter, Santa Cruz closed out the opening frame with a 31-23 advantage.

The game remained competitive early in the second quarter until the Warriors drained three straight 3-pointers to extend their lead at 50-35 with less than five minutes remaining in the first half. Santa Cruz maintained the advantage with a 64-52 lead going into the break.

Santa Cruz went on another 10-0 run in the third quarter, including a steal and dunk from Rowe. An alley-oop dunk from Santa Cruz guard Jimmy Whitt helped the Sea Dubs take their largest lead of the game at 88-62.

Mexico City battled throughout the remainder of the quarter to close the deficit, 97-78, heading into the final frame. But, the Capitanes (12-11) were unable to find offensive footing and the Sea Dubs came away with the victory.
