Behind a 12-0 run at the start of the fourth quarter, N.M.C. held off a late Pajaro Valley surge to secure no worse than a share of the Pacific Coast Athletic League Cypress division crown with a 55-50 win on Tuesday night.
HS Football: Reyes, Seymour, Anderson earn All-State honors
Reyes, a record-breaking running back and linebacker for the Aptos Mariners, was named to the All-State Medium Schools Second Team. Seymour, an explosive receiver and defensive back for St. Francis, made the All-State Small Schools First Team. And Anderson, a stud defensive back at North Monterey County, earned a spot on the Junior All-State Football team.
