Watsonville Police officer Gustavo Zamora leads Alura Castillo, 26, to a patrol car Tuesday after police stopped her in an alleged stolen vehicle. Sgt. Mish Radich said the SUV, which belonged to the special needs department of the Pajaro Valley Unified School District, was caught on video being swiped by a woman resembling the one shown here. The owner, Radich said, spotted the vehicle Tuesday being driven near Safeway in the Freedom Centre. Police set up a perimeter and eventually moved in and snared the woman with a male passenger. The woman has previous charges of embezzlement, forgery, previous stolen vehicle and drug charges, according to court records.
