SANTA CRUZ — An adult and two juveniles are facing murder charges for the death of a 41-year-old man whose body was found off the roadway on upper North Rodeo Gulch on Oct. 13.

Milton Arias Molina, 22, of San Jose was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail without bond. Also arrested was a 17-year-old boy from Capitola and a 15-year-old boy from Santa Cruz.

The dead man has been identified as Bernardo Rodas. He was reported missing on Oct. 10.

An autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death will take place later this week.

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office has not released information about motive, suspect gang affiliation or if there are additional suspects.

Sheriff’s detectives are asking for help from the public to determine where and when Rodas was last seen alive. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. Dee Baldwin at 454-7635 or email at [email protected].
