Joey Garibay, St. Francis, (Sr.): Sharks’ senior had 22 points on Jan. 13 in a PCAL-Cypress opening win against Pajaro Valley. Garibay had 26 points against Watsonville High that helped St. Francis get a 2-0 start in league play.
Madison Hill, Monte Vista Christian, (Sr.): Mustangs’ senior scored 14 points in a win against returning PCAL-Gabilan co-champ Seaside High in last week’s league opener. Hill had 12 points against Notre Dame to help M.V.C. improve to 2-0 in league play.
