Watsonville Elks Lodge #1300 recently honored their Past Exalted Rulers (PER).

It was a day of recognizing the leadership team for their past service to the lodge and community. The Elks support veterans, scholastic scholarships, local community programs and youth groups. 

The PERs were recognized for their years of service. Honored in the ceremony in order of years of service were: Kim Kliewer* (60 years), Lawrence D Lease* (51 years), Richard Ruelas* (PER x2, 47 years), John Hunting* (47 years), Thomas Leroy* (39 years), Randal McClellan (39 years), Richard Torres (36 years), Frank Nigro III (34 years), Stephen Nelms (25 years), Rosemarie Lewis (PER x4, 24 years), Bernice Tapiz* (23 years), Betty Lou McClellan (23 years), Peter Telc (PER x2, six years) and Adrianne Lewis* (six years) (* denotes those not pictured).
