WPD: Two arrested in connection with stabbing

WATSONVILLE—Watsonville Police Department officers arrested two Watsonville men who they believe stabbed another Watsonville man multiple times on the 300 block of Clifford Avenue.

Officers arrested Adrian Campos, 23, and Eric Pray, 39, on March 25. They were charged with attempted murder and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail in lieu of $375,000 bail.

According to WPD spokeswoman Michelle Pulido, officers responded to the area around 6pm and found a 44-year-old Watsonville man who had been stabbed multiple times.

He was transported to the hospital with life-threatening wounds but is expected to recover. 

Officers found Campos and Pray hiding in the backyard of a nearby home.

Detectives believe the attack is an isolated incident.
