Mrs. Lew passed away peacefully on February 16, 2018 at Watsonville Community Hospital. She was 87.
Mrs. Lew was born in Canton, China and lived in Watsonville for 45 years. She retired from Green Giant Company (frozen foods) after 20 years. In her free time she enjoyed cooking and she spoiled her family with her traditional home made Chinese foods. She loved to be in her garden and planted a variety of vegetables, and enjoyed traveling with family and friends.
Mrs. Lew was preceded in death by her husband Tung Kai Lew (1996), and her daughter Choi Sin Chinn (2005).
She is survived by her son-in-law Patrick Chinn of Watsonville; and three grandchildren, Hubert Chinn of Fairfield; Amy Chinn Lee (Curtis Lee) of Las Vegas; Phillip Chinn (Tyng Le) of Sacramento; and two great-granddaughters, Olivia Lee and Peyton Chinn.
A visitation service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 5-6 pm at Green Street Mortuary, 649 Green Street, San Francisco, California. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 12 pm also at Green Street Mortuary, followed by interment at Golden Hill Memorial Park, 2099 Hillside Blvd., Colma, California.
