Zacarias De Anda died with his wife by his side at Watsonville Community Hospital on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. He was 96.
Mr. Zacarias de Anda was a native of Mexico. He was a Watsonville resident for decades. Mr. De Anda was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was very active in the Farm Workers Union.
He is survived by his wife, Ambrosia De Anda; and his children, Mike, Maria, Patricia, Charlie and Manuel; his siblings, Librada, Regina, Francisca, German and Petra; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Service will be held on Monday, July 23 at St. Patrick’s Church at 5 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. There will be a funeral Mass on Tuesday, July 24 at 1 p.m.
