• Brandon Ducusin, N.M.C., (Sr.): North Monterey County High’s two-sport athlete should have breakout seasons in both the fall and winter.

In football, Ducusin was an All-PCAL-Cypress First Team selection and is coming back as the starting quarterback for the Condors.

He completed 49 percent of his pass attempts (53-of-107) for 762 passing yards to go along with five touchdowns and eight interceptions. He was also the team’s leading rusher with 402 yards on 99 carries and nine touchdowns.

In basketball, Ducusin was a PCAL-Cypress First Team selection who helped lead the Condors to a league crown with a perfect 10-0 record. N.M.C. also made a trip the CCS Division V quarterfinals.   

According to the stats kept by MaxPreps, Ducusin averaged 13.6 points per game and tallied 327 points in 24 games played last season.
