Brynn Mitchell, Aptos, (Sr.): A star on the soccer team in the winter and the track and field squad in the spring, Mitchell is one of Aptos High’s rising athletes poised to become a leader this school year.

Playing in her third varsity season, Mitchell was named the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League Midfielder of the Year. She helped the Mariners’ soccer team to a second-place league finish and the Central Coast Section Division I playoffs.

Mitchell followed up her soccer season by winning individual SCCAL titles in the long jump and triple jump, while also advancing to the CCS Finals in both events. She also added a second-place finish and CCS qualifying spot in the 100-meter high hurdles.

Mitchell earned the Bob Enzweiler Award, which is given to the athlete who earns the most points for her team.
