Monterey County Sheriff investigators are looking for two suspects who committed armed robbery at the Express Market in Pajaro on Saturday.

The suspects, both male, are currently at large and considered to be armed and dangerous.

The first suspect was wearing a white beanie cap, dark pants, dark brown hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up and a white mask over their face. He had a white glove on his left hand and was holding a black handgun in the other. 

The second suspect was wearing a black cap, a black mask over his face and a black jacket and black pants. 

At about 10:54pm on Oct. 25, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a robbery at the Express Market on the 400 block of Salinas Road. 

Employees reported that two suspects entered the business and demanded money while ordering the two employees to the ground. 

An employee suffered injuries when one of the suspects struck them in the back of the head multiple times. 

The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money as well as an unknown amount of alcohol bottles from the shelves. They were last seen exiting through the front of the store and walking north on Salinas Road. 

The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
