Bernice Mowery Cruz died in Santa Cruz on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018. She was 75.
She was born on June 12, 1943 to Mildred and Gustave H. Spranger. She was a free-spirited individual that lived life on her own terms. She graduated from Watsonville High School in 1961 and after attended Cabrillo College. She was a gracious lady that enjoyed helping others. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a resident of Watsonville.
She is survived by her sons, Dwayne Mowery and Wayne Mowery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Gustave H. Spranger; and her brother, Lyndell Dwight Spranger.
