LOS ANGELES — Cecilia M. Pinto died after a long illness in Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 13, 2017. She was 52.

Ms. Pinto was born in Pico Island in the Azores and moved to Watsonville as a young child many years ago. She moved to Los Angeles four years ago where she was transferred for work. Ms. Pinto worked as a store manager for Valero Gas and 7-11 convenience stores for nearly 10 years. Ms. Pinto enjoyed Elvis and going to Disneyland. She had a caregiving heart and loved her family and children.

Ms. Pinto is survived by her mother, Maria de Fatima Luis; children, Jardiel Pinto Jr., Jordan Pinto, Kimberly Pinto and Christy Pinto-Soler; brother, Jimmy Luis (Marlene Soaras); and sister, Marie Mayou (Marc).

Visitation will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Thursday, May 25 from 10:30 a.m.-noon. A Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Valley Catholic Church at 12:30 p.m. also on Thursday with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
